SNOW REMOVAL
During the Winter season we need to keep the streets clear of vehicles for snow removal purposes. Please keep vehicles that are not used daily off the streets so we can properly clear the snow when necessary and keep our citizens safe.

PARKING BY PUBLIC OWNED FACILITIES
Just a reminder to people attending events at public owned facilities to be considerate of property owners living close to these facilities. Please do not block driveways and leave an ample amount of space for their safe entry and exit.

BUSINESS AND PET LICENSES
It is time once again for the renewal of the pet license and business license. Your voluntary payments are greatly appreciated and significantly reduce administration costs - stretching our tax dollar is always a plus. Please aquire your license by February 28, 2010. Your cooperation in the adherence of these bylaws is greatly appreciated.

WATER AND SEWER RATES
As of January 1, 2010 our rate for the purchase of water from SaskWater Corporation increased by 4.4%. This increase must be passed on to the consumer so we have adjusted the water rates as follows: Minimum charge for 3,300 gallons is $70.00 bimonthly. The charge for 3,301 gallons and over is now $15.00/1,000 gallons. Household sewer rates have incresed $5.00 bimonthly with all other categories increasing accordingly. These increases are also leading us into a phase in program for covering the costs of our 2010 projects. We are replacing the forcemain line from the 4th Avenue lift station to the new line going to the lagoon which takes us into the middle of the golf course. We have experienced many breaks in the old line over the past couple of years and need to address the issue. We also plan to automate our lift station so that we can provide water and sewer services in the event of power outages. Sask Environment has ordered that our water distribution system cannot be depressurized so we must automate the sewer as well. We will also build a larger holding tank for the sewer at the lift station.

ANNUAL NOTIFICATION TO CONSUMERS-DRINKING WATER QUALITY COMPLIANCE
In compliance with Section 44 of The Water Regulations, 2002, we are pleased to advise that our annual water records compliance report will be open for inspection for the year 2009 from February 15th, 2010 to February 27th, 2010 during regular business hours.
